- Thanks for the help. Problem, in this case, was:
- 1) Squirrel-chewed phone-lines;
- 2) Lack of filtering on modems.

- The Phone Co. is fixing the first, and in-line filters have made
- connection possible, though erratic ( until lines are fixed ).
